Mr. Abhishek Singh

Vice President, Strategic Projects, IIT Kanpur.

Mr. Abhishek Singh is the Vice President of Strategic Projects at IIT Kanpur, with extensive experience driving institutional transformation across premier higher education institutions. He previously served as Chief of Strategic Initiatives at BITS Pilani and successfully led the Institute of Eminence (IoE) program at IIT Delhi. His work spans strategic planning, institutional excellence, and improving national and global university rankings. Mr. Singh has also held senior roles at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), ICICI Bank, and IGCAR–DAE. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from HBTI (UPTU), a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Homi Bhabha National Institute, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Calcutta.
