He was Executive President(Vice-Chancellor) of Indus University at Ahmedabad. He has also worked as director of a reputed Institute of technology in Sikkim, as VC of a private University in Himachal Pradesh, as CEO of two reputed educational groups at Hyderabad. While working in the Army, he had academic, research and training experiences too. He taught at the college of Military Engineering, Pune and at the college of Defence Management, Secunderabad. He has also worked at Head quarters of the Army Training Command, Shimla.
