Prof. S.P. Malhotra, presently Director of Educational Technology Management Academy, Gurugram Haryana, has been a Professor of Education and Fellow at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration and chief consultant Ministry of Human Resource Development New Delhi.  He has more than 150 research papers in the field of Educational Technology and completed over 50 research projects sponsored by agencies like NCERT, UGC, and the Government of India. He drafted the State Education Policy-1996 of Haryana. For his contribution, he has been awarded the ‘Best Teacher Educator’ award for 2005-06. He held various administrative positions at the Kurukshetra University like Dean Academic Affairs, Director of Distance Education, and Registrar of the University. He has been on various general and executive bodies of NCTE, NAAC, and UGC. He is a member of the Quality Higher Education Committee of the UGC of Nepal. He is the president Global Educational Research Association.
