I have been Faculty in Pediatrics, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi for 33 years and superannuated as Dean Research on June, 2021. My specialty is Pediatrics and super-specialty is Pediatric Nephrology. 

I have supervised 38 MD and 4 DM Theses students.

I have received Fellowship training in specialty of Pediatric Nephrology under INSA-DFG Exchange and DAAD program at Heidelberg and Freiburg University Medical Centers in Germany.

I have been Head & Member, Policy Planning Committee of Department of Pediatrics & Academic Council of Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

Publications: 206 Research Papers (International-106, National-86, Chapters-14) and Book Edited-1, published by ELSEVIER, USA.

Visiting Faculty at B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal and School of Health Sciences, University of Technology, Mauritius.

Presently appointed as Member, Executive Council, Baba Gulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, J & K.

Also served as President, Indian Society of Pediatric Nephrology during 2019 to 2021.
