World@1813#Prof. Bhaskar Bhattacharya is a distinguished academician and researcher with a long-standing association with Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. He completed his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Physics from BHU and has a global research profile, having worked as a Research Professor at the prestigious Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST), South Korea. 

His teaching career also includes his tenure as a Professor of Physics at Sharda University, Greater Noida, where he held several leadership positions, including Dean of the School of Engineering & Technology, Dean of the School of Basic Sciences & Research, and Controller of Examinations.

Currently, Prof. Bhattacharya is a Professor of Physics at BHU, where he also serves as the Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Chairman of the Central Admission Committee. He has published over 130 papers in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and contributed six book chapters. Additionally, Prof. Bhattacharya holds two patents and has successfully completed seven government-funded research projects worth over 1.2 Crore INR.

He is an esteemed member of the editorial boards of journals such as Journal of Materials Science: Materials for Electronics (Springer) and High Performance Polymers (SAGE). Prof. Bhattacharya’s expertise spans a wide range of research areas, and he is recognized for his contributions to academic quality, particularly in the areas of NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) and NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council).

Prof. Bhaskar Bhattacharya has been awarded the ISCAS Silver Medal for his outstanding research contributions. He has been associated with NIRF data since its inception and has gained extensive experience in managing NAAC and NBA visits for institutional accreditation.

Prof. Bhaskar Bhattacharya specializes in research and development in Physics, with extensive experience in institutional quality assurance (IQAC). He has a strong background in academic leadership and administration, particularly in overseeing accreditation processes such as NAAC, NBA, and NIRF. Additionally, he has significant expertise in research project management and securing funding for various academic initiatives.
