Prof. Anamika Bhargava

Associate Professor, IIT- Hyderabad.

Dr. Anamika Bhargava completed her Ph.D. from the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Innsbruck Medical University, Austria in the year 2008. Soon after, she went on to do her postdoctoral work from the Michael Smith Labs at The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada where she was awarded a competitive postdoctoral fellowship for her project on Calcium Channels. She also worked with Dr. Julia Gorelik in Imperial College London as a Research Associate. Dr. Anamika Bhargava joined IITH as an assistant professor in the year 2014. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Biotechnology. She is involved in several leadership roles at IITH including Institute ranking nodal coordinator, Coordinator for Hands-on lab training program, Member of Research advisory committee, and Academic review committee, convener of departmental post graduate committee and Institutional biosafety committee secretary for 2017-2020.
