Dr. Koona Ramji

Dr. K. Ramji working as a Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering (Autonomous), Andhra University. He obtained his B.E. (Mech.), M.E. (Machine Design), M.Tech. (Nanotechnology) and MBA (Finance) degrees from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India during 1991, 1993, 2007 and 2013 respectively. Obtained his Ph.D. programme from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (India) in the year 2004. His areas of specialization include spatial mechanisms, Robotics, FEM, Nanotechnology, Tire Mechanics and Vehicle dynamics. Guided 82 M.E/M.Tech. Theses and 30 Ph. D Dissertations related to Vehicle Dynamics and other fields and Published 231 papers and actively doing consultancy, research and project works. Organized 09 International conferences and 43 national conferences, seminars etc. He delivered 105 guest lectures at different platforms and attended 66 short-term courses in National Level IITs and other institutions. He also participated in 154 Conferences, Symposiums and Workshops at National and International level and presented 111 papers in national, international journals, workshops, conferences and symposiums. In his credit, Rank Holder in B.E & M.E and Gold Medalist in M.E. Awarded certificate of merit for the paper published in the Journal of Institution of Engineers (India), 2004 and also Awarded the Brij Mohan Lal Memorial Gold Medal Prize for the best research work done and paper published in the Journal of Institution of Engineers (India), 2005. At present Dr. Koona Ramji is one of the TEQIP Co-ordinator for College of Engineering (A), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
