Dr. K. Sree Latha, an accomplished academician, researcher, and academic leader with over 24 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Dr. Sree Latha specializes in Power Systems, Renewable Energy, and Smart Grid Technologies, and has significantly contributed to sustainable energy research. She has published 37 peer-reviewed research papers, holds 5 patents, and has authored a book. She earned her Ph.D. from JNTU Anantapur, where her research focused on voltage profile improvement of grid-connected wind farms using FACTS devices.

Prior to joining the Institute for Academic Excellence (IAE), she served in key academic leadership roles, including Principal, Vice-Principal, Professor, and Head of Department at St. Peter’s Engineering College, Hyderabad, as well as leadership positions at GNITC, KITS Markapur, Veltech, KSRMCE, and other esteemed institutions. Under her leadership, engineering programs achieved NBA accreditation, and she played an integral role in NAAC and Autonomous processes.

Dr. Sree Latha is a multi-award-winning academic leader, having received Best Principal Awards, international recognitions from Malaysia and Thailand, and leadership certifications through AICTE–UKERI and the British Council. She has chaired technical sessions at several international conferences and is a member of professional bodies including IEEE and ISTE.

She has successfully handled funded projects from AICTE, DST, MSME, and other agencies, and continues to guide innovation and entrepreneurship through national and international challenges.
