Dr. Ivaturi Bhanu Murthy

Retired Principal, Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margoa, Goa.

Dr. Ivaturi Bhanu Murthy is a doctorate in commerce from Andhra University. He is a thorough academician having an experience of about 38 years as lecturer, Reader & HOD of Dept. of Commerce and Principal of a Private Aided Institution.

He has membership on a number of Academic Bodies. He was a chairman for Board of Studies in Financial Services of Goa University, Chairman, Board of Studies in Commerce (UG) of Goa University, Nominated Member of Board of studies in Commerce (PG) of Goa University, Member, Board of Studies in Commerce, Maharaja’s Autonomous College, Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh etc. He is recognised as Research Guide by Goa University, Madurai Kamaraj University and Bharatiyar University. Eight students were awarded M.Phil. Degrees and six students Ph.D. under his supervision. Further, he was a member of Peer team of NAAC and visited about 150 colleges for Accreditation. More than 16 papers were presented by him in various forums.

He has also rich administrative experience having worked as principal of Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margoa, Goa, Administrator of V.M. Salgocar International Institute of Hospitality Education, Goa, Rector of Vidya Vikas Mandal, Bursar of the college etc.
